I haven’t seen Hannah in days. I think she’s avoiding me. I wonder if I did something wrong. Maybe she got her memories back and she doesn’t want to see me any more.
“Thank you.” she said, curling up closer to him. “Why do you always know the exact perfect thing to say?”
“I don’t.” he said, just holding her.
“You really do.” she said, calming down and wiping the tears out from her eyes.
“Are you sure you’re okay?” He asked, wanting to make sure.
“I will be. Ive just had a little bit of an emotional time but you make everything nice. Stable.” She said. “Thank you.”
“You’re welcome. I try my best.”

“Yeah.” her voice was choked and she tried to calm it. “I just have a lot of feelings and everything is really new and I don’t know what to do with all of them. But it’s okay….right?”
“It’s okay. You’ll learn how to handle them.” He said with a reassuring smile. “Everything’s going to be alright.”

She sniffled. She didn’t want to start crying. Why were her eyes welling up? It made little sense and she just stayed burried in his arms. It was safe here.
Alex looked down at her while he held her. “Are you okay?” He asked in his most gentle voice.

“I love you so much, Alex.” she snuggled into his arms and guilt hit her like a ton of bricks. How could she think of wanting her memories back when she had this? When she had so much to loose?
“I love you, too.” He kept his arms wrapped tight around her, his eyes closing. He was just happy to have her.

“I always will. I’ll never leave your side.” He pulled her into a hug.

“We don’t really cause much trouble at all. Compared to some people in here, we’re nearly saints.” she said with a smile and gently squeezed his hand.
“Close enough.” He said with a smile. He kissed her gently before pulling back. “I would just love to be there for you when you need someone the most.”
